The Native American dream in Sherman Alexie's short story “One Good Man”

چکیده

The purpose of this article is to discuss the idea an Indian identity and Native American Dream in Sherman Alexie’s short story “One Good Man.” In story, Alexie introduces constructed by White Americans attempts through his characters redefine that concept deconstructing all different stereotypes created society. order do this, he also calls “Native Dream” express social inequality hopeless existence community always immersed ironic comic discourse. sense, proposes a new definition looking back culture, tradition space reservation. He creates fiction contestation resistance opening voice for identity.
